NBA Finals, or Game 7?

By Chico Rodriguez • May 28th, 2010 • Category: NBA

By the end of the weekend, we could either know which teams will square off in the NBA Finals, or we could have not one, but two Game 7s.

Both the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers hold 3-2 leads in their respective conference final series, with Game 6 in the Eastern final taking place Friday night and Game 6 in the West final on Saturday night.

The Orlando Magic will try to keep their comeback going in the Eastern Conference Finals when they take on the Boston Celtics for Game 6 on Friday at TD Banknorth Garden (8:30 pm ET, ESPN).

Boston is a 3.5-point favorite in NBA Odds at JustBet.

Orlando pushed the series to Game 6 with a 113-92 win in Game 5 on Wednesday. The Magic had no problem covering the point spread as a 4.5-point favorite, and the score went over the total of 186.5.

Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 24 points, five rebounds, and five assists while Dwight Howard added 21 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Rasheed Wallace had 21 points in a losing effort for the Celtics.

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Lakers will try to advance to the NBA Finals for the third-straight year when they visit the Phoenix Suns for Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday (8:30 pm ET, TNT).

Los Angeles picked up a last-second 103-10 win in Game 5 but failed to cover as a 7.5-point home favorite and the score went under the total of 217.

The Suns are a slim 1-point favorite in NBA Betting at JustBet.
