Celtics can win title, Lakers look to extend NBA Finals

The Los Angeles Lakers face elimination and the Boston Celtics can wrap up their second NBA title in three seasons when the teams meet in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday at the Staples Center (9 pm ET, ABC).

Los Angeles is a -295 moneyline, 6.5-point favorite and the over/under total is 189 in NBA Betting at JustBet.

Boston leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.

After dropping Game 3 at home, The Celtics picked up wins in both Game 4 and 5. Boston beat LA 92-86 in Game 5 at TD Garden on Sunday, covering the point spread as a 2-point favorite. The score went under the total of 189.5.

Last Thursday, the Celtics beat the Lakers 96-89 in Game 4, cashing as a 4-point favorite.

Paul Pierce was huge on Sunday, scoring a team-high 27 points, while fellow veteran Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Rajon Rondo also chipped in 18 points and added eight assists.

Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 38 points — 28 of those in the second half. Pau Gasol added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Boston is 10-4 SU in its last 14 games overall, and 5-2 SU and ATS in its last seven games on the road. Los Angeles is 12-5 SU in its last 17 games, and 10-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in its last six games at home.

If Game 7 is necessary, it will be Thursday at the Staples Center.
