NBA championship on the line in Game 7
By Hank Harris • Jun 16th, 2010 • Category: NBAThe 2009-10 NBA Championship will be decided when the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers meet in Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Thursday at the Staples Center (9 pm ET, ABC).
NBA Odds at JustBet have the Lakers as a 7-point favorite and the over/under total at 187.
The Lakers tied the best-of-seven series at three games apiece with an 89-67 pasting of the Celtics in Game 6 at home Tuesday. Los Angeles barely broke a sweat cashing as a 6-point favorite, while the score easily stayed under the total of 190.
Once again, the Lakers were paced by Kobe Bryant, who scored a game-high 26 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds. Pau Gasol had 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Ron Artest chipped in 15 points.
The Celtics were led by Ray Allen, who scored 19 points. Paul Pierce had 13 points and Kevin Garnett had 12 points and six rebounds.
Boston is 10-5 SU in its last 15 games, but 2-4 SU in the past six games in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is 13-5 SU in its past 18 games overall, and 11-1 SU in its past 12 games at home.
Boston was 50-32 straight up and 33-48-1 against the point spread during the regular season. Los Angeles was 57-25 SU and 34-46-2 ATS.
Boston center Kendrick Perkins will likely miss Game 7 with a knee injury, while Los Angeles center Andrew Bynum left Tuesday game in the third quarter with a sore knee.
