In a rematch of a classic Final Four matchup, the No. 10 seed Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on No. 7 seed Oklahoma State Cowboys in a Midwest region tilt at the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Milwaukee (7:15 pm ET, CBS).

One the most highly anticipated games of the opening round, the game will see the Yellow Jackets and Cowboys meet for the first time since April 3, 2004, when Georgia Tech beat Oklahoma State 67-65.

Georgia Tech went on to lose to the UConn Huskies in the 2004 National Championship Game – the furthest the Yellow Jackets have gone in the NCAA Tournament in the school’s history.

NCAA Tournament Betting Odds have Oklahoma State as 1.5-point favorites and the over/under total at 137.

Georgia Tech (22-12 SU, 15-12-1 ATS) lost 65-61 to the Duke Blue Devils in the ACC Tournament title game last Sunday. The Yellow Jackets covered as an 8.5-point underdog and the score went under the total of 137.

Georgia Tech was led by Derrick Favors’ 22 points and 11 rebounds. Iman Shumpert chipped in 12 points.

Oklahoma State (22-10 SU, 15-10-1 ATS) was thumped 83-64 by the Kansas State Wildcats in the Big 12 Conference tournament last Thursday. The Cowboys were 5-point underdogs and the score went over the total of 144.5.

James Anderson had 27 points with four boards and three assists in the loss.

Georgia Tech is 2-4-1 ATS in its last seven games while Oklahoma State is 6-3 ATS in its last nine games.

The Georgia Tech-Oklahoma State winner will face the winner of Friday’s Ohio State Buckeyes-UC-Santa Barbara matchup on Sunday.
