NCAAF Lines: Boise St. Broncos vs. Virginia Tech Hokies
By Hank Harris • Sep 5th, 2010 • Category: NCAAFThe Boise St. Broncos and the Virginia Tech Hokies will square off in a matchup between two of the top College Football powerhouses in the nation on Monday (8 pm ET, ESPN). Each of these teams is ranked in the top 25 and should bring a lot of excitement in their matchup.
The Broncos are a 1.5-point, -120 moneyline favorite and the over/under total is 50 in NCAAF Lines at JustBet.
Boise State enters the year as the third ranked team in the nation. They managed to go undefeated last season, but they still could not capture the respect of people around the nation to be considered as potential champions. This season will be the year for Boise State to make their move as many people already anticipate that they will be contenders.
Boise State will need to impress in this game. This is the highest quality team that they will face all season. If they are able to get past the Hokies they may not have another team that will be able to challenge them for the rest of the season. A win here could be the key for Boise State to make the National Championship game.
Virginia Tech sported a great defense in 2009 that will really be put to the test. They will be facing this Boise State offense that managed to score 42.2 points per game last season. This made them the highest scoring offense in the nation. They will be tough to contain, but Virginia Tech will certainly have a game plan prepared to take them on.
This matchup should be one of the best of the season and will be worth watching without doubt.
