NFL Preseason: Patriots @ Falcons

NFL Odds at JustBet have the Falcons as a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under total at 37.
The Patriots are 3-2 SU and ATS over the past five meetings. The teams squared off last season, when New England beat Atlanta 26-10 on Sept. 27. The Patriots covered the point spread as a 4.5-point favorite and the score went under the over/under total of 45.5.
Both teams are undefeated in NFL exhibition season play. The Pats opened with a 27-24 victory over the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints last Thursday, while the Falcons beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-10 last Friday.
New England had a solid regular season in 2009, finishing in first place in the AFC East division with a 10-6 SU and 8-7-1 ATS record. But the Patriots had no success in thee NFL Playoffs, bowing out quickly in a 33-14 loss against the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round.
Atlanta stumbled last season after recording one of its best seasons in franchise history in 2008, when they went 11–5 SU, dropping to 9-7 SU and 11-5 ATS, which put them in second place in the NFC South division. The Falcons did not make the NFL Playoffs.
The Patriots closed the 2009 regular season with a 34-27 loss against the Houston Texans as a 7.5-point road favorite, while the Falcons finished up with 20-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, covering the spread as a 2.5-point favorite.
