Raiders visit Cowboys in NFL Preseason action

It may be just preseason, and the glory years for one of the teams are in the distant past, but the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders is still a classic NFL matchup.

That rivalry will be renewed Thursday when the teams meet in an NFL exhibition game at Cowboys Stadium.

Dallas is a 3.5-point favorite and the over/under at 34.5 in NFL Odds at JustBet sportsbook.

Head-to-head, the Raiders are 3-2 SU and 2-3 ATS in the past five clashes, the last meeting coming on Nov. 26 last season, when the Cowboys won 24-7 Dallas win as a 13.5-point home favorite, and the score stayed below the over/under total of 40.

The Cowboys have already played one preseason game, as they beat the Cincinnati Bengals 16-7 in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame game on Sunday. Dallas cashed as a 3-point favorite.

Oakland had a terrible 2009 campaign, finishing third in the weak AFC West division with a 5-11 SU and 8-8 ATS record. Oakland wrapped up its regular season slate with a 21-13 loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 3.

On the other side of the NFL spectrum, the Cowboys finished first in the NFC East division with an 11-5 SU and 9-7 ATS record.

Dallas looked good heading into the NFL Playoffs, and many had the Cowboys as a dark horse Super Bowl pick.

They certainly looked the part in their first postseason tilt, as they dismantled NFC East division rival Philadelphia Eagles 24–0 in the Wild Card round. But it was a different story in the divisional round, as Dallas was pounded 34-3 by Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings.
