NCAAB Odds have Clemson as a 4.5-point favorite and the total at 121.5.

Alabama-Birmingham was 22-8 SU, 17-11-1 ATS, and 12-4 in Conference-USA play. Clemson was 21-11 SU, 13-13-2 ATS, and 9-7 in the ACC.

UAB was upset 75-70 in overtime by the East Carolina Pirates in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA tournament last Thursday. The Blazers were the No. 1 seed. They failed to cover the 7.5–point spread as favorites and the score went over the total of 125.

Clemson lost 92-87 in OT to the North Carolina Tar Heels in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Saturday. The score was a push as the Tigers had been a 5-point underdog. The score went over the total of 132.5.

The teams last met on Dec. 21, 2004, when the Blazers won 78-66 and covered as a 1-point road underdog. The score went under the total of 150.5.

Clemson is 4-1-1 ATS in its last 6 games and 16-7 SU in its last 23 games. The total has gone under in 9 of Clemson’s last 13 games.

The Florida State Seminoles will try to keep their March Madness hopes alive when they visit last year’s national champion, the North Carolina Tar Heels, for an ACC matchup Wednesday at Chapel Hill (7 pm ET, ESPN).

Florida State is a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under total is 140 in NCAA Basketball Odds at JustBet.

UNC owns a commanding 40-9 series lead over FSU, but the Seminoles had the last laugh when the teams last clashed on March 14 last season, upsetting the Tar Heels 73-70 as a 9.5-point underdog in the ACC Tournament last season.

North Carolina went on to win the national title, but has struggled mightily this season, dropping six of their past seven in ACC play.

Over the past 10 meetings, North Carolina is 9-1 SU and each team has covered the point spread five times.

In its last game, Florida State beat the Virginia Cavaliers 69-50 as a pick’em on Wednesday. The score fell under the over/under total of 126.

Chris Singleton scored 12 points for Florida State and Luke Loucks added 11, while Ryan Reid and Xavier Gibson each had 10 points apiece. The Seminoles hit 50 percent of their field goal attempts, including a 7-of-14 effort from three-point range.

North Carolina dropped a 71-67 decision against the Boston College Eagles at the Silvio O. Conte Forum Saturday. Boston College covered as a 3-point home favorite while the score went under the 143.5-point total.

Florida State (19-7 SU, 7-14 ATS) has won two straight games. North Carolina (14-13 SU, 7-17 ATS) has lost two straight games.

With forward Ed Davis out of the lineup with a wrist injury, North Carolina’s Deon Thompson is the team’s leading scorer. Thompson scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds against Boston College, while John Henson posted 11 points.

The No. 9 Michigan State Spartans get a chance to avenge their loss in last season’s NCAA Basketball national title game when they take on the No. 11 North Carolina Tar Heels in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Tuesday (9 pm ET, ESPN).

The Tar Heels beat the Spartans 89-72 in the National Championship Game last April, on what was essentially home court for the Spartans, Ford Field in Detroit.

The Tar Heels are -135 moneyline, 2-point favorites in College Basketball Odds.

Including last April’s championship, the Tar Heels are 4-0 both straight up and against the spread in the past four meetings with the Spartans. The Tar Heels are especially tough at home against the Spartans, going 5-1 SU and ATS in the past six meetings at Chapel Hill.

Chris Allen scored 18 points on Saturday night to lead Michigan State to a 106-68 win over Massachusetts. The Spartans covered the 16.5-point spread and the score went over the total of 149.

North Carolina beat Nevada 80-73 on Sunday but failed to cover the 15.5-point spread. The score went under the over/under total of 163.5. Deon Thompson scored a game-high 23 points for the Tar Heels and Ed Davis added 16 points and 15 rebounds.

North Carolina is 6-1 SU and 1-4 ATS, and has won two straight games. Michigan State is 5-1 SU and 2-3 ATS.

Michigan State is 13-3 SU in its last 16 games on the road while North Carolina is 11-1 SU in its last 12 games at home.

This is the 11th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge and the ACC has won every year.

The 2009-10 NCAA Hoops season is underway and Justbet has NCAA Basketball Championship Futures Odds for basketball betting fans.

The Kansas Jayhawks, the No. 1-ranked College Basketball team heading into this season, are a +300 favorite to win the national title at Justbet.

The Jayhawks have been a top pick among coaches and pundits to capture the national title, and were a near-unanimous No. 1 in preseason polls.

Head Coach Bill Self, who has won five Big 12 conference titles, has a young team with just two seniors.

All-American freshman guard Xavier Henry, senior point guard Sherron Collins, and junior center Cole Aldrich will be counted on to lead the Jayhawks this season.

The Kentucky Wildcats are next at +500 followed by the defending champion North Carolina Tar Heels at +800.

The Tar Heels, who are ranked No. 4 this season, lost a number of key players from last season’s championship team, including Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Danny Green, all of whom were drafted by NBA teams.

North Carolina is expected to be led by returning player Deon Thompson, who averaged 10.6 PPG last season.

Also near the top of the favorites to emerge from March Madness and the Final Four are the Duke Blue Devils, at +1000, and the Texas Longhorns, at +1200.

Check out Justbet for a full list of NCAA College Basketball teams and their odds to win the NCAA Tournament.

As a part of your NCAA Football gambling weekend, the North Carolina Tar Heels will play host to the Florida State Seminoles in a heated college football betting affair.

The grumblings out of Tallahassee are getting louder and louder with every passing week, and they won’t be quieting down anytime soon unless the Noles start posting some W’s. HC Bobby Bowden has already stated he won’t be stepping down after this season, but the pressure to do so will be at its all time highest if the Noles don’t improve upon their 14-1-1 all-time mark against the Tar heels this evening. FSU has gotten off to its worst start since Bowden took over the program’s reigns back in 1976. They dropped their third game in a row back on October 10th losing in a shoot-out to GTECH by a 49-44 final count. The offense did its part, but the defense stunk out loud; DC Mickey Andrews stop unit currently ranks 107th out of 109 teams allowing an eye-popping 426.7 YPG. That’s not going to get it done tonight; even against a Tar Heel offense that’s proven to be inept thus far.

Though UNC stands 4-2 SU on the year, it can’t be thrilled about its overall resume. Two of its victories came against FCS foes The Citadel and Georgia Southern, and its only FBS cover came back in Week 2 against East Carolina. HC Butch Davis’ squad has been outclassed in ACC play getting outscored by both Georgia Tech and Virginia by a combined 40-10 final score. Not good! The offense can’t get out of its own way let alone come up with any kind of passing game to keep opposing defenses honest. The Heels passing attack currently ranks 103rd in the country averaging an unacceptable 171.5 YPG. QB T.J. Yates has thrown for just 964 yards and has a negative TD/INT ratio of 6:7. The offenses mindset thus far has been to run the ball, not turn it over, and rely on the defense to set them up with short fields; mixed results overall. Defensively however, UNC is one of the best in the nation as it ranks 3rd in total defense allowing 237.7 YPG and 12th in scoring defense allowing 14.2 PPG; it’s also averaged 2.5-sacks per game.

Tonight will mark the first meeting between these pro9grams since 2004. The Seminoles are a $$$-making 8-3-2 ATS their L/13 as an underdog, and 2-0-2 ATS their L/4 as a pup on the road. UNC’s 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS off a bye the L/3 seasons. The road team has covered the spread in this series in 7 of the L/9 meetings.

ACC rivals take to the field in one of Saturday afternoon’s premier NCAA football betting matches when the North Carolina Tar Heels face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in a heated NCAAF gambling affair.

For the most part, it hasn’t been pretty this year for HC Butch Davis, but the Tar Heels keep finding ways to win games and move up in the polls. This week, UNC chimes in at #18 after beating East Carolina 31-17 in the third week of college football betting. Carolina dropped an impressive 433 yards on a formidable Pirates defense, led by QB TJ Yates’ efficient game. The signal caller went 19/24 for 227 yards with two touchdowns and more importantly, no interceptions. However, the accolades for the season should be going to the Heels’ ‘D’. They rank 6th in the country in yards per game allowed at 198.7, 7th against the rush at 52.3 yards per game, and 12th in points allowed at 11.0 per game.

That rush defense will be tested by Georgia Tech’s option attack on Saturday afternoon. If the Jackets play anything like they did against Miami though, the sledding will be tough. GT only mustered 95 rushing yards against the Canes in ESPN’s Thursday Night Football betting affair last week, but a lot of those problems stemmed from RB Jonathan Dwyer’s injured shoulder. The reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Year is listed as probable for this game against UNC. QB Josh Nesbitt shouldn’t have to do much in terms of throwing the football for the Ramblin’ Wreck to find success. HC Paul Johnson doesn’t mind that GT ranks 110th in the nation in passing offense at just 137.3 yards per game. Nesbitt leads the team in both passing yards (357) and rushing yards (213).

Recently, the rivalry between these ACC foes has been one-sided. The Tar Heels are a perfect 5-0 ATS since 2004, but the Jackets have won three of the L/4 meetings SU. Home may be where the heart is, but it’s certainly not where covers lie for G-Tech betting fans. The Yellow Jackets are just 3-7-1 ATS in their L/11 games at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
